Hindu legend

According to a Hindu legende, once upon a time, every human was a God. However, they abused and misused their divinity in such a way that Brahma, the God of all gods, decided to deprive them from their divine powers and to hide it in a place where it's impossible to find it...

The problem is where to find such a place? Brahma then gathered all the remaining gods in a council meeting to solve this problem, where they proposed: "let's bury the human divinity in the earth". But Brahma replied, "No, it will not be enough, because human will excavate and will find it".
Then other gods said, "in that case, let's throw the divinity in the deep of the deepest ocean". Once again Brahma replied, "No, because sooner or later the human will explore every hollow of every ocean, and one day they will find it and bring to surface."

At this point, the gods concluded, "We don't know where to hide it, because it seems that it does not exist, on the earth or in the deep of the ocean, a place that man can not reach."

And to this Brahma then said wisely, "This is what we will do to the human divinity: we will hide in his deepest and most secret self, as it is the only place where they will not have the idea to search for it"..

The legend concluded, from that moment, humankind has accomplished periplus of the earth, has explored, climbed the mountains, excavated the earth, and into the oceans, in the search of something that is found inside of him.
